Cain
The Farmer Who Faced Jealousy

Meet the Character
Cain was a son of Adam and Eve and worked the soil. He brought crops as an offering to God. When God favored Abel’s offering, Cain became jealous and angry. He killed his brother and later lied about where Abel was. Cain’s choices harmed his family, and he became a wanderer.

Character Design
Cain has an angular face, strong square jaw, deep-set eyes, very short coiled hair, and no beard. His serious expression, rust-red tunic, and basket of crops identify him as a farmer. He is depicted as a human being, not a monster.
The appearance is an artistic design for this course, not a biblical description of the person’s looks.
