Fern · Teenage Version
Nature Observation Friend

Growing Up
In this teenage chapter, Fern has grown into a more independent companion. The familiar identity and interests remain, now expressed through a more mature silhouette, thoughtful choices, and projects that connect learning with real life.
Meet Fern
Fern is a young fox field naturalist with a layered leaf cape, sturdy boots and a well-used satchel. Her mature ranger look keeps the orange fur, cream tail tip and gentle attention of her younger self.
She records habitats and relationships without disturbing wildlife. She compares observations across visits and reminds friends that a single sighting cannot establish a whole ecological story.
Teenage Challenge
Observe a local ecosystem without disturbing it. Map possible relationships and distinguish direct observations from hypotheses.
A More Independent Learner
Choose a goal, explain your reasoning, and review the result with others. You can ask for support without giving up ownership of your work. Progress includes recognizing uncertainty, listening to disagreement, and changing your mind when evidence warrants it.
Slogan
Look gently, nature has stories to tell!
