Meet Atlas

Atlas is a bear cub with a teal explorer hat, an orange scarf, and a globe in his paws. He enjoys maps, but he loves hearing people describe their homes, celebrations, and daily lives even more.

Friendly and open-minded, he knows one story cannot represent a whole place. When Mewe Girl opens a book, he helps locate its setting and asks whose story it is—and whose voice they might listen to next.

Try this together

Draw an imaginary welcoming neighborhood with a library, a park, and places of your own choosing. Who could each place help?

A big world has many stories to hear.
