Meet Fern

Fern is a little fox with a leafy cape and an explorer satchel. A pattern on a leaf or the shape of a cloud is enough to make her pause and look closer.

Gentle and observant, she gives small creatures their space. After a nature story with Mewe Girl, Fern invites friends outdoors to explore their questions. She records discoveries in drawings and leaves nature where it belongs.

Try this together

On a suitable walk, look for three different leaf shapes. Observe or sketch them and describe their differences without picking them.

Look gently. Discover slowly.
