Meet Byte

Byte is a mint-green robot with a yellow antenna and colorful coding blocks. He loves breaking a big task into small steps, then turning those steps into something he can try.

Helpful and a little muddled, Byte sometimes puts instructions in the wrong order. He and Mewe Girl trace the steps and try again. From movement games to Scratch stories, he encourages children to create—and to think about and check answers from machines.

Try this together

Draw three action cards: clap, turn, and raise your hands. Arrange them for a friend to follow. Change the order and see what happens.

Make an idea, one step at a time.
