On m-we.org open the Apps page (or any page that shows this app's card), tap the app and choose your system (Android .apk, iOS, macOS .dmg, Windows, Linux). The web version is at https://video.m-we.org — no install needed.

Sign in

Sign in with your MeWe account — the same account works in every MeWe app. In the apps, sign-in opens the MeWe sign-in page once and then stays signed in.

What you can do

  • Libraries: Movies, Shows and Other videos. An administrator chooses a folder of the media storage for each library and the app scans it.
  • Posters, descriptions, ratings and episode titles come from TMDB; "Fix the match" corrects a wrong title.
  • Play in the browser or the apps: files the browser understands play as they are (with seeking); others (mkv, avi, HEVC …) are converted on the fly. Your place is remembered, Continue watching is on the home page and Play next goes on with the next episode.
  • Subtitles: files next to the video and tracks inside it are offered; Find subtitles searches OpenSubtitles and Assrt (also Chinese) and adds the one you pick.
  • What's new: new, trending and top-rated movies and shows, only those rated 7 or more (you can change the minimum). Add a title to Wanted with one tap; it is marked when it shows up in your library.
  • Downloads (administrators): add a magnet link or a .torrent file of something you have the right to download; files go to the incomplete folder while downloading and to the complete folder when finished, where a library can pick them up. Download only what you have the right to download.
