Read: The Silent Announcement
The club asked Theo to make a sign saying "Quiet rehearsal in progress." He painted enormous letters, carried the sign into the hall, and called, "Everyone! Please read my quiet sign!" The actors stopped. Theo whispered an apology. Then his phone announced, at full volume, "Remember to be quiet." For a moment no one moved. Finally the director held up Theo’s sign, and everyone laughed without making a sound.
