Narrator: The people went to Aaron.
Israelite Leader: Make us a god to lead us!
Aaron: Bring me your gold earrings.
Child: Here is mine.
Elder: Is this right?
Aaron: I will try to help them.

Narrator: Aaron melted the gold and made a golden calf.
Israelite Leader: This is our god!
Child: Let’s celebrate!
Elder: This is not right.
Aaron: Let us build an altar.

God: The people have turned away from Me.
God: I will destroy them.
Moses: Please Lord, remember Your promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
God: I will show mercy.
