Scene 1 – Abrahams Request

Narrator: Abraham wanted his son Isaac to have a good wife. He trusted God to guide the choice.

Abraham: Servant, go to my homeland and find a wife for Isaac.

Servant: I will obey. God will guide me.

Isaac: I trust God’s plan.

Abraham: God has always been faithful.

Scene 2 – A Prayer at the Well

Narrator: The servant traveled a long distance and stopped at a well.

Servant: Lord, please show me the right woman for Isaac.

Servant: If she offers water to me and my camels, I will know You have sent her.

(Servant waits beside the well.)

Scene 3 – Rebekah Arrives

(Rebekah enters carrying a water jug.)

Rebekah: Good day!

Servant: May I have some water to drink?

Rebekah: Of course. Here is some water.

Servant: Thank you.

Rebekah: I will also give water to your camels.

Servant: Praise God!

Scene 4 – Meeting the Family

Narrator: The servant visited Rebekahs family and explained why he had come.

Bethuel: Tell us your story.

Servant: God led me here to find a wife for Isaac.

Family Member: We can see that God is guiding this.

Bethuel: Rebekah may go with you.

Rebekah: I am willing to go.

Narrator: Rebekah traveled with the servant to meet Isaac.

Isaac: Welcome, Rebekah.

Rebekah: I am happy to meet you.

Servant: God answered our prayers.

Isaac: God has been very good to us.
