God: Adam, this garden is for you. Enjoy it and take care of it. But do not eat from the Tree of Knowledge.
Adam: Thank You, God. I will obey You.
(Adam falls asleep.)
Narrator: God put Adam into a deep sleep. Then God made Eve from Adams rib.
Eve: Hello, Adam!
Adam: Wow! Thank You, God. I am happy to have a friend.
God: Love one another and walk with Me.
---
Scene 2 – A Clever Serpent
(Eve walks near the tree.)
Serpent: Eve, did God really say not to eat this fruit?
Eve: Yes. God told us not to eat it.
Serpent: You will not die. You will be like God and know good and evil.
Eve: Really? The fruit does look good.
Serpent: Go ahead. Nothing bad will happen.
Eve: Maybe just one bite...
(Eve pretends to eat the fruit.)
---
Scene 3 – Adam Chooses
(Eve carries fruit to Adam.)
Eve: Adam, I ate some fruit. Here, have some too.
Adam: Are you sure? God told us not to eat it.
Eve: It seems fine.
Adam: I should obey God... but I will eat it.
(Adam pretends to eat.)
Narrator: At once, Adam and Eve knew they had sinned. They felt ashamed and covered themselves with leaves.
Adam: I feel afraid.
Eve: Me too. Lets hide.
---
Scene 4 – God Calls
(Adam and Eve hide behind chairs or cloth.)
God: Adam, where are you?
Adam: I heard You and was afraid, so I hid.
God: Did you eat from the tree?
Adam: I did.
Eve: I also disobeyed.
Serpent: (Looks down sadly.)
Narrator: God knew what had happened. Sin had entered the world.
---
Scene 5 – Leaving Eden
God: I still love you, but there must be consequences for sin.
Eve: We are sorry, God.
Adam: Please forgive us.
God: I will care for you, but you cannot stay in Eden.
Angel: I will guard the garden.
Narrator: Adam and Eve left Eden with sorrow. Yet God still loved them and had a plan to save people.
