The Garden of Eden
God gave Adam a wonderful home called the Garden of Eden. It was a beautiful paradise filled with colorful flowers, green plants, large trees, birds, butterflies, animals, crops, and delicious fruits. Adam lived peacefully among all the creatures God had made. God even allowed Adam to give names to the animals that lived in the garden.
In the center of the garden were two special trees: the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God instructed Adam, and later Eve, not to eat fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. This tree was unique because it would give knowledge of good and evil. Adam listened to God's command and accepted it.
