Scene 1 – Three Visitors

Narrator: Abraham and Sarah were very old. One day, three special visitors came to their camp.

Abraham: Welcome! Please rest and have a meal.

Sarah: I will prepare food for you.

God: Abraham, Sarah will have a son.

Sarah: A son? At my age?

God: Nothing is too hard for God.

Scene 2 – A Warning About Sodom

Narrator: God told Abraham that Sodom and Gomorrah were full of evil.

God: These cities are very wicked.

Abraham: Please spare my nephew Lot.

God: I will send My angels to rescue him.

Angel 1: We will go at once.

Scene 3 – The Angels Visit Lot

Narrator: The angels arrived in Sodom and met Lot.

Lot: Please stay at my house tonight.

Angel 1: Thank you, Lot.

Lots Wife: Welcome to our home.

Angel 1: We have an important message from God.

Scene 4 – Time to Leave

Angel 1: God will destroy this city. Leave now!

Lot: We must go quickly.

Lots Wife: I am afraid.

Angel 1: Do not look back.

Narrator: The angels led Lot and his family out of the city.

Scene 5 – Looking Back

Narrator: As they ran toward safety, fire and burning sulfur fell on the cities.

Lot: Keep moving! Do not look back!

Lots Wife: I want to see what is happening.

Narrator: She turned around to look.

(Lots Wife freezes while holding a white cloth.)

Narrator: At once, she became a pillar of salt.

Scene 6 – Safe in Zoar

Lot: God has saved us.

Angel 1: God kept His promise.

Abraham: Thank You, Lord, for rescuing Lot.

Sarah: God is merciful and faithful.
