Scene 1 – A Fearful King

Narrator: Nimrod was a powerful king. One day, stargazers warned him that a special child would be born.

Nimrod: What did you see?

Terah: The stargazers believe a child will become important.

Nimrod: Then I must stop him!

Narrator: Nimrod became afraid and ordered newborn babies to be killed.

Scene 2 – Abram is Hidden

Narrator: During this dangerous time, Abram was born.

Mother: We must protect our baby.

Terah: I will hide him where he can be safe.

Nurse: I will care for Abram.

Narrator: Abram, his mother, and his nurse stayed in a cave.

Scene 3 – Discovering God

(A paper sun and moon are shown.)

Narrator: When Abram was older, he came out of the cave and looked at the world.

Abram: The sun is amazing.

Abram: The moon is beautiful too.

Abram: Someone greater than the sun and moon must have made them.

Mother: God created everything.

Abram: I want to follow God.
