Bringing a Widow's Son Back to Life

Jesus and His disciples arrived at the town of Nain and encountered a funeral procession. A widow had lost her only son, and she was deeply grieving.

Jesus felt compassion for her and told her not to cry. He touched the stretcher and spoke to the dead young man, telling him to get up.

Immediately, the young man came back to life and began speaking. Jesus gave him back to his mother, and everyone was filled with awe and praised God.
