Treading on Water

After feeding the crowd, Jesus sent the disciples ahead by boat while He went up a hill to pray alone.

As night came, strong winds made the lake rough. The disciples struggled against the waves when they suddenly saw Jesus walking toward them on the water.

They were frightened, thinking it was a ghost, but Jesus reassured them, telling them not to be afraid.

Peter asked to walk toward Jesus and stepped onto the water. When he became afraid, he began to sink and cried for help. Jesus immediately reached out and saved him. When Jesus entered the boat, the wind stopped and the disciples were amazed.
