The Quiet Gorilla

Once upon a rainforest, in a hidden valley, lived a young gorilla named Gabo. Gabo loved to swing from vines, but he was very shy when a flash camera appeared. The camera's bright light made him tremble, and he hid behind the thick leaves. Despite his fear, Gabo wanted to make friends with the visiting travelers. So, he wondered how he might brave the flash.

Gabo’s Big Idea

One morning, Gabo met a friendly parrot named Pipi. Pipi perched on a branch and chirped, “Why not try a picture of your favorite fruit instead of the flash?” Gabo thought of his giant banana, ripe and golden. He promised to try. The next day, he held the banana and stared at the light softly. He smiled once, and the flash caught his grin.

Learning to Smile

With every photo, Gabo felt more confident. The flash no longer startedle him; instead, it captured his proud smile. The travelers laughed, saying, “Gabo, you’re amazing!” They showed him the pictures, and Gabo could see his brave face on the screens. His heartbeat slowed, and his eyes sparkled with excitement.

The Great Photo Parade

Soon, the jungle’s animals joined the parade. The elephants made big footprints, parrots fluttered ribbons, and even the shy hedgehogs walked with gentle steps. All took turns in front of the camera. Gabo even led the parade, waving his hand proudly. The crowd cheered, and the pictures spread through the forest’s gossip tales.

A Surprise Gift

When the visitors left, the travelers thanked Gabo for showing them his courage. They gave him a small wooden mask featuring a gorilla face. The mask was warm, and Gabo felt it as a new friend. He tucked it in his burrow, smiling as he imagined the next picture.

Forever Remembered

From that day on, Gabo’s story spread across the jungle. Children learn to overcome fears, like the flash of bright lights. It’s a tale of courage and friendship. The end.
