The Cloud Who Stole a Rainbow

The Cloud Who Stole a Rainbow

When the sky was clear, a curious cloud named Nimbus decided to play a trick. He had seen how the rainbow glowed after a rainstorm and wished it in his own way. The rainbow was a precious gift of colors for all children, and no one had ever dared to touch it.

Ages 3–5

The Rainbow

The rainbow arched across the horizon, bright and beautiful. It glimmered like a bridge of colors for the curious birds. Children pointed at it with smiles. The rainbow promised adventures and made every day feel bright.

The Cloud

Nimbus was a fluffy cloud, but he had a secret wish. He wanted to see the world like the rainbow. He imagined holding the colors in his palm, feeling warm and light. He felt a spark of mischief.

The Quest

One morning, Nimbus drifted toward the rainbow. He followed the shimmering arc, stepping by step in the sky. He twirled around the colors, letting them fall into a gentle mist. With hope, he tried to capture the whole rainbow.

The Lesson

But the rainbow felt sad because it was left unfinished. The sky grew dim, and the children looked up with longing. The wise old storm cloud spoke, “A rainbow can only be shared, not kept.” We realized the importance of sharing the gift we love.

The Return

Nimbus apologized to the rainbow and promised to share. He puffed out his fluffiness and blew gentle breezes. The rainbow shone brighter than ever. All the children celebrated the joyful colors together.

The Celebration

The children danced beneath the rainbow. They laughed and sang, thanking the clouds for their kindness. The sky was filled with giggles, and the rainbow glowed with happiness. It was a day of pure, shared joy.
