A gentle dragon named Ember loves to adventure in the misty valley.

Ember lived among green hills under the shimmering blue sky. He was known to all creatures as a friendly dragon who helped anyone in need. One sunny morning, Ember felt a strange shiver whenever he approached the river. The river sparkled with tiny stones that glittered like bright fireflies. Each splash made his heart beat faster, as if fire were dancing close behind him.
Curious Ember asked his friend, a wise old owl, why he felt so uneasy. The owl gently explained that dragon fire, though powerful, could be scary if one was not used to it. Ember felt a pang of relief but still shivered at the word 'flame.' He decided to find a way to face his fear on his own.
Ember spent the next days watching the meadow fireflies under moonlit skies. He found that the soft glow was harmless and could be trusted. Each little light felt like a friendly companion. He gathered courage like a tiny bright star, and when the next day dawned, he walked to the river again.
This time, Ember held his breath and stared at the sparkling water. He watched the stones gleam, remembering the owl’s words. Ember opened his mouth and, to his surprise, a gentle flame flickered out of his nostrils but stayed safely contained. His shiver turned into a proud sigh, and the dragon's fear turned into marvel.
Now Ember could breathe fire only when he wanted, and it never harmed his friends. He built a small bonfire in the valley to warm the animals during the chilly winter nights. The animals laughed, danced, and thanked Ember for his safe flames. The valley was filled with warmth and friendship like never before.
From that day forward, the valley's residents called Ember the Emberless Dragon—because he knew how to keep flame under control. Ember shared the lesson that a fear can become a friend if you face it with kindness. He became a legend in the valley, and children would listen to his stories before bedtime.
