A story about a beautiful city that can float on water.

Little Mia and her friends thought of a wonderful idea. They wanted to build a city that could float on water. They imagined homes, gardens, and playgrounds on a big boat. The children drew sketches on paper. They talked about the adventure they would have.

Mia's family helped collect big wooden planks. They got ropes, sails, and colorful flags. The old fisherman gave them a sturdy boat frame. They also found shiny metal clamps. All the supplies were carried to the riverbank.

The children tied the planks together with strong ropes. They hammered metal clamps to keep them steady. The platform grew taller and steadier. They painted bright colors on the sides. When the platform was finished, it looked like a giant lily.

The city gently slid into the cool water. It bounced a little like a boat. The friends held onto the ropes while the city floated downriver. They shouted with joy. The floating city swayed but did not sink.

Inside, the children set up a vegetable garden in a small greenhouse. They planted carrots, tomatoes, and lettuce. They played music in the open hall. They also shared stories over a shared table. The city felt like their own tiny kingdom.

When the sun fell, the city glimmered like a fairy. The colors of the flags flashed over the water. The children danced around the dock. They saw their floating city as a shining star. The experiment was a big success.
