A tasty mystery unfolds in Sweetville when the sprinkles vanish overnight! Detective Mia, the youngest sleuth in town, is on the case with her trusty magnifying glass and a heart full of curiosity.

It was a sunny morning when Mia entered Sugar Star Bakery. The shelves were filled with cupcakes, cookies, and doughnuts—but something was missing. The sprinkles! The colorful toppings that made every pastry sparkle were gone. Mrs. Donut, the baker, looked worried. “Without sprinkles, no one will smile today!” she sighed.

Mia knelt to examine the floor. “Hmm, cookie crumbs!” she said, noting a trail leading out the back door. She wrote in her notebook: Crumb trail—possible clue! Then she saw a few rainbow sprinkles near the window sill. Could someone have dropped them while escaping?

Her first stop was the Sweetville Park, where Benny the Bunny often played. “Benny,” Mia asked, “did you take the sprinkles?” Benny’s eyes widened. “No! I only eat carrots and cupcakes—with frosting but no sprinkles!” Mia looked closer. No sprinkle dust on his paws. He was innocent.

Next, Mia visited the ice cream shop. Mr. Scoop the squirrel was licking his cone. “Mr. Scoop, where did you get those colorful bits?” Mia asked. “Oh, these? I found them stuck to my tail!” he said. Mia smiled. “Then you must have been near the bakery last night.” Mr. Scoop blushed. “I was cleaning up the trash bins... maybe some sprinkles fell?”

Back at the bakery, Mia followed the trail again. It led behind the shelves—to a mouse-sized hole! Inside, she found a family of mice cheerfully decorating their cheese with colorful sprinkles. Mia laughed. “Case closed!” she said. Mrs. Donut smiled, giving the mice their own jar of sprinkles. Everyone in Sweetville celebrated with sprinkle-topped cupcakes that day.
