A fun story about a clever girl teaching a real dinosaur how to be polite.

Lily was a girl who knew everything about dinosaurs. She could name them all — from T. rex to Triceratops. One sunny morning, she heard a huge thud in her backyard. When she looked out, a real, live dinosaur was standing there! Its name was Dino, and it didn’t even say hello.

Lily smiled and said, “When we meet someone, we say hello first.”
Dino blinked, then tried his best.
“Hellooo!” it roared so loud that the trees shook.
Lily giggled, “Maybe not that loud.”

The next day, Lily taught Dino how to eat politely.
“No roaring at the table,” she said.
But Dino slurped and burped so big that the neighbors thought there was thunder.
Lily patiently showed him how to use his napkin and chew quietly.
It took time, but Dino tried very hard.

One afternoon, Dino accidentally stepped on a flower.
Lily explained that when we make mistakes, we say sorry.
Dino bent down and whispered softly,
“S-s-sorry.”
The bees buzzed happily again.

Soon, Dino learned to say please, thank you, and sorry.
He even helped Lily carry groceries!
The townspeople couldn’t believe how well-mannered he became.
Lily smiled, proud of her new student.

And every time Dino met someone new,
he would bow his big head and say politely,
“Hello, nice to meet you!”
Everyone in town loved the polite dinosaur
who once roared too loud.
