An Unusual Buddy

Milo was playing in the park when he noticed a strange movement behind him.

The shadow that usually followed him seemed to have a mind of its own.

One evening, Milo whispered to the shadow and asked, “Who are you?”

The shadow answered with a slow, deep rumble that floated up to Milo’s ears.
