At night, as the sun dipped behind the trees, the toys gathered around a firefly lantern.

They shared stories: the explorer recounted the time they uncovered a mystery in the attic, the stuffed rabbit told how it found a hidden box of crayons, and the marbles talked about the sparkle of moonlight.

I heard my own name called by the action figure, "Remember to play with us again!"

When morning arrived, the toys returned to the closet with their suitcases now empty.
