The Rainbow Friendship
Chapter One
章节一
Once upon a time in a colorful meadow, there lived a shy little rabbit named Milo.
从前在一片五彩斑斓的草地里，住着一只害羞的小兔子米洛。
He loved to hop around, but he was afraid of being different from the other animals.
他喜欢跳来跳去，却害怕自己与其他动物不同。
Milo's fur was a soft pink, unlike the usual white or gray of his friends.
米洛的毛皮柔软的粉红色，与朋友们的白色或灰色大相径庭。
He would often sit on the grass and listen to the birds sing, wishing he could join in.
他常坐在草地上听鸟儿歌唱，幻想自己也能加入其中。
One day, a bright butterfly named Lila flew by and asked Milo why he looked sad.
一天，一只明亮的蝴蝶莉拉飞过来，问米洛为何看起来这么伤心。
Chapter Two

Milo told Lila about his worries and how he thought everyone would reject him if they saw his pink fur.

Lila listened gently and reminded him that beauty comes in many colors.

She promised to help him find confidence and friendship.

Together they visited the friendly squirrel, Sam, who had a bright orange tail.

Sam laughed at Milo’s shade and said, "Differences are like bright coins we can use to build a bridge of friendship."

Chapter Three

Milo had a hard time taking the first step.

He worried that the other animals would giggle.

But Lila told him, "Be yourself like the sun stays bright in the sky."

Milo invited everyone and arranged bright colored lanterns.

His pink fur glowed softly in the sunlight, and every animal saw how beautiful it was.

He danced with the deer, played hide and seek with the fox, and sang with the hummingbirds.

But a misunderstanding grew when the wise owl, Orin, overheard a rumor that Milo would change because of the new friend.

He frowned and said, "If one must be true, acceptance is a kind way."
