One sunny morning, Leo decided he wanted to build the biggest fort ever — one that could fit Mom, Dad, his little sister Mia, and their dog Bobo.

He gathered every blanket, pillow, and chair he could find.

The living room quickly turned into a construction site of imagination.

“This will be the greatest fort in the world!”

he shouted proudly.

But he didn’t know just how big his dream would grow.

The First Walls

Leo started stacking pillows carefully, but Bobo kept stealing them to nap on.

Mia tried to help, but she made a tower that immediately toppled over.

Still, they laughed and rebuilt, turning mistakes into giggles.

Mom peeked in with snacks, and Dad brought some old sheets.

Slowly, the walls of the fort began to rise higher and higher.

Expanding the Fort

Before long, Leo decided the fort needed more rooms.

One for sleeping, one for eating, and one for Bobo’s dog bed.

He used broomsticks to make tent poles and tied strings to hang up more sheets.

The fort stretched so wide it touched both ends of the living room.
堡垒越建越大，几乎碰到了客厅的两头。
“It’s almost big enough for everyone!”
“快够大了！”
Leo cheered, his eyes sparkling with pride.
乐乐兴奋地喊道，眼睛闪闪发光。
A Small Problem

But soon, the fort became so big that it started leaning. The broomsticks wobbled, and one of the walls collapsed with a soft whoosh. Bobo barked in surprise, and Mia squealed as the blankets fell around them. Leo felt frustrated — maybe it was too big after all. But then Mom smiled and said, “Maybe we just need a little teamwork.”
可很快，堡垒变得太大了，开始摇摇欲坠。
扫帚杆晃动着，一面墙“呼”的一声塌了。
波波惊叫一声，米娅尖叫着被毯子盖住。

The Family Helps

Everyone pitched in.
全家人都加入了。
Dad found stronger sticks, Mom tied the knots tighter, and Mia made a snack station inside the fort.
爸爸找来了更结实的杆子，妈妈把绳结系得更紧，米娅在堡垒里布置了零食区。
Bobo wagged his tail and stood guard at the entrance.
波波摇着尾巴，在门口守卫。
Together, they rebuilt the fort stronger than ever before.

It wasn’t just Leo’s fort anymore — it was everyone’s.

The Perfect Fort

By evening, the fort glowed softly with fairy lights.

The whole family crawled inside, laughing and telling stories.

Bobo snored in his little corner while Leo looked around proudly.

“We did it,” he whispered.
