The First Attempt
第一次尝试
It was a bright Saturday morning, and Mia decided it was the perfect day to teach her little brother, Ben, how to ride a bike.

Ben was excited but also nervous, gripping the handlebars as if they were life savers.

Mia steadied the bike, gave a small push, and shouted, “Pedal, Ben, pedal!”

But instead of pedaling, Ben froze and tipped over gently onto the grass.

They both burst into laughter, realizing this was going to take a while.

The Wobbly Ride

After a few more tries, Ben finally managed to move forward.

The bike wobbled left and right like a baby deer taking its first steps.

Mia jogged beside him, cheering, “You’re doing it!”

Suddenly, Ben looked back to smile, and—crash!

Mia couldn’t help but laugh, even though Ben pouted.

“You have to look ahead, not at me,” she giggled.

The Break for Ice Cream

“Maybe ice cream will give me balance,” Ben said, rubbing his knees.

So they took a short break, sitting on the porch with dripping cones.

Mia told him stories of when she was learning, how she once rode into a bush.
米娅讲起自己学车时的趣事，笑称她曾经骑进过灌木丛。
Ben laughed so hard that chocolate ice cream smeared across his nose.

They promised each other that after the ice cream, Ben would try again, this time with courage (and fewer crashes).

The Great Success

The sun was setting when Ben finally took off on his own.

His feet pedaled smoothly, his balance steady, and his laughter echoed down the street.

Mia cheered so loud the neighbors peeked out of their windows.

“You did it, Ben!”
邻居们都探出窗户看热闹。
she shouted, running behind him.
本笑着说：“我就说冰淇淋有用吧！”
Ben grinned, “I told you ice cream helps!”
这一天以笑声和拥抱结束，他们约好明天再开始新的冒险。
The day ended with hugs, giggles, and the promise of a new adventure tomorrow.
