A Day That Rhymed Away

神奇的一天——今天,杰米说的每句话都押韵。

A magical story about a kid who wakes up one day and can only speak in rhymes.

Morning Surprise

When Jamie woke up, something was strange.

His words came out in a rhythmic range.

“Good morning, sun, you’re bright and fun!”

he said, surprised at what he’d done.

Mom blinked twice, and Dad said, “Hey—

Why are you rhyming this fine day?”

Breakfast Rhymes

At breakfast time, it didn’t stop.

“Pass me eggs before they pop!”

He laughed and giggled at his own tone,

Though speaking this way felt not his own.

Even the toast seemed to grin at the fun,

As butter melted under the sun.

Talking to Friends

On the way to school, he met his friend, Lee.

“Hi there, Jamie!

What’s up?”

said he.

Jamie replied, “I’m feeling fine,

But everything I say must rhyme!”

Lee laughed so hard he almost fell—

“This is the coolest thing to tell!”

In the Classroom

The teacher asked, “What’s two plus two?”

Jamie answered, “Four, that’s true and blue!”

The whole class giggled and clapped in cheer,

They loved how rhymes made answers clear.

The teacher smiled, both proud and shy,

“This day will rhyme until the sky!”

Lunchtime Laughter

In the lunchroom, Jamie’s words still flowed,

Like music playing in a happy mode.

“Pass the juice, it’s apple sweet!

No sandwich can my rhyme defeat!”

His friends joined in, one by one,

And lunchtime turned to rhyming fun.

Playground Songs

They played tag, hide-and-seek, and swings,

While Jamie rhymed about all things.

“Run and jump, don’t trip or fall!

Catch me quick, or lose it all!”

His voice became a joyful tune,

Echoing under the afternoon moon.

After School Adventure

Jamie walked home, his dog by side,

Still rhyming words with every stride.

A bird flew by and chirped a sound,

Jamie replied, “I’m rhyme-bound!”

The bird seemed to nod, then flew away,

As if to say, “You’ve made my day!”

Evening Reflections

At dinner, his family played along,

Turning chatter into a song.

“Pass the peas, if you please,” Dad said,

Mom laughed so hard her cheeks turned red.

The house was filled with laughter’s chime,

And Jamie’s world was full of rhyme.

Bedtime Wonder

When stars appeared and night drew near,

Jamie whispered, “It’s been quite a year.”

Though it was just a single day,

He’d rhymed and laughed in every way.

He yawned and smiled with sleepy grace,

“Tomorrow, I’ll speak at my own pace.”

The Next Morning

The sun rose bright, and Jamie tried—

To speak, but rhymes no longer tied.

His voice was plain, his words were free,

But part of him missed that melody.

He grinned and said, “That was sublime—

A magical, wonderful, rhyming time.”
