A gentle tale about a turkey who discovers the power of silence.

It was a bright, sunny morning in the small blue barnyard. All the animals were bustling with excitement, preparing for the day. The hens clucked in a cheerful rhythm while the cows milked calmly. The chickens perched on the fence, singing happily. Toby the turkey peered out, looking slightly puzzled but eager to join.
Toby was a bright orange turkey with a proud feather plume. Unlike his brothers, he did not want to call out loudly. He preferred listening and looking. The other turkeys tried to coax him with "Gobble, gobble, gobble!" but he simply shook his head. Everyone thought, "Is Toby learning to be quiet?" with smiles and curiosity.
Soon, the farmers brought a huge spread to celebrate. There were golden corn, juicy beans, fresh lettuce, and crunchy pebbles. All the animals gathered around the long wooden table, ready to feast. The turkeys expected to shout their thanks and joy loudly. Toby stared and wondered what he would do instead.
When the table was ready, the other turkeys started gorging and shouting, "Gobble! Gobble! Gobble!" Toby wanted to be part of the chorus, but he did not want to ruin his calm nature. He felt his heart pounding, but he remembered the farmer's gentle voice about being respectful. He wondered, could one be both loud when needed and quiet to others?
A small, clever duck named Daisy waddled beside him. She had a bright yellow beak and a mischievous laugh. Daisy spoke, "Toby, you can share your thoughts without yelling. Try saying a kind word." She taught him to speak in a gentle voice. Toby felt inspired and gave it a try, feeling his fear slip away.
Toby said, "Thank you all for the food," and his eyes sparkled. Everyone listened, and the farmer nodded with appreciation. The other turkeys cheered but quietly, allowing others to share too. Toby discovered that being gentle could make everyone feel happy. He found his voice and celebrated silence, bringing peace to the barnyard.
