Tommy was a curious boy who liked to explore the park after school. He had a bright red backpack and always carried his favorite stuffed rabbit, Ruby. Every day, he would chase the butterflies in the meadow and feel the warm sunshine on his face. Tommy loved learning new things, especially about the people around him. He thought all kids were the same, just like he was.

One sunny afternoon, Tommy met Maya, a girl who had a new friend, Lina, who could speak only Spanish. Tommy was surprised that Lina didn’t speak English and wanted to play the same games. He tried to talk to Lina by pointing at a soccer ball, but she looked puzzled. Tommy realized that language was just a part of what made each person special.

Later, Tommy’s class decided to create a friendship bracelet. Everyone brought different colored beads. Maya made a bracelet for Lina that had a small purple bead, which Lina loved because it reminded her of her favorite fruit. Tommy saw how much joy Lina felt and wondered why he had never included others like this before.

During the next school play, Tommy was chosen to act as the king, but he asked Maya and Lina to join as the queen and the princess. Initially, they were hesitant, but Tommy explained that together they could do more fun activities. The audience clapped, surprised to see such teamwork.

After the play, their teacher praised them for a lesson in cooperation and respect. Tommy felt proud and decided to remember that differences are treasures, not challenges. He promised to always ask others first and listen to their stories.

From that day forward, Tommy organized a “All Friends Day” in his school. Children shared snacks from different cultures and talked about how each dish tasted. Tommy’s heart swelled with happiness knowing that everyone could celebrate together, no matter how different they seemed.

The End.
