The Curious Backpack
Mia was walking home from school when she found an old backpack on the playground. She opened it to find a shiny button that glimmered in the sun. Curious, she pressed the button and felt a warm breeze swirl around her. A bright light flashed, and then, to her surprise, a tiny doorway appeared on the back of the backpack. Mia thought she was dreaming, but the little doorway stayed there, humming softly.

Mia showed her best friend, Max, who looked at the backpack skeptically. Max suggested they take it to the museum to see if anyone had seen something like it. When they arrived, the museum guide squinted at the backpack, then laughed in wonder. The guide told them that a legendary explorer had left the backpack as a gift for someone brave. With Max’s help, Mia pressed the button again, and this time the portal glowed brighter than ever.
