A story about how a boy learns that small acts can grow into big joys.

In a small village surrounded by green hills lived a young boy named Tom. He liked to watch the clouds drift across the sky. Every morning he walked to the edge of the village to plant seeds. Though his hand was small, his heart was full of hope. He believed that even tiny plants could grow tall if cared for.
Tom woke before the sun. He brushed his teeth and made a sandwich. He carried a small basket. Inside were seeds, a spoon, and a notebook for notes. He sang a song while walking to the field.
One day while playing, Tom saw a leaf fall from a tree. It landed softly near his basket. The leaf was bright green, almost like a small flag. Tom wondered if it could be planted. He placed it gently beside the seeds.
Tom started a tiny garden. He dug holes, placed seeds, and watered them. The tiny seedlings grew slowly each day. He watched them with great excitement. He made a promise to care for all of them with kindness.
When the pumpkins and small tomatoes ripened, Tom shared them with neighbors. He handed a piece of tomato to Old Mrs. Lee. She smiled and thanked him. The little garden made the whole village feel closer. Tom felt proud that his small work helped others.
At the end of the season, the village held a festival. Food, music, and laughter filled the air. Tom's garden was the highlight of the event. The young children played and the elder elders cheered. Tom learned that a little kindness can plant big smiles.
