A story about two siblings who stumble upon a magical door leading to a world where gravity works in reverse.

Tom and Lily were exploring their grandmother’s attic when they found an old wooden door standing alone. It wasn’t attached to any wall, yet it shimmered faintly in the sunlight. Curious, Tom reached out to touch the knob, and it felt warm, almost alive. Lily giggled and pushed the door open, revealing a swirling tunnel of light. Without thinking, they stepped through together.

When they opened their eyes, they found themselves floating upside down! Houses stood on clouds, and trees hung from the sky. People were walking on the ceiling of the world, waving cheerfully. Tom tried to stand but drifted higher instead, laughing in surprise. Lily twirled around, her hair floating like a ribbon.

They met a boy named Milo who explained that in this world, gravity was reversed. He showed them how to walk by thinking about the direction they wanted to go. Tom practiced hard and managed to float down instead of up. Lily learned how to bounce between floating flowers. Soon, they were gliding and laughing with their new friend.

That evening, Milo invited them to a feast held on the underside of a floating island. Plates and cups were stuck to the table by invisible magnets. They ate glowing fruit and rainbow soup that sparkled like stars. Lily laughed so hard that her soup floated away. Tom tried to catch it, and everyone clapped when he finally did.

When it was time to leave, Milo led them back to the glowing door. He gave them each a crystal that would let them visit again. Tom and Lily waved goodbye and stepped through the door once more. They landed gently in the attic, everything right side up again. But the crystals in their hands reminded them that adventure was never truly over.
