The Snake Who Wanted Arms
A little snake named Serp had bright green scales that shimmered in the sun.
He lived in a sunny meadow filled with tall grass and colorful flowers.
Every morning, Serp would wrap his body around a rock and ponder: “If I had arms, I could play with the wind and dance.”
He imagined waving his tiny hands, feeling the cool breeze dance around his whiskers.
His dream was simple, but his heart was big.
