Gathering Parts

Pip set out on a treasure hunt around the farm. He collected a bright wheel, a sturdy metal frame, and a small battery from the old shed. Each item glimmered with potential. He measured everything carefully, making notes in his sketchbook. Pip felt that the robot was coming to life.

Building the Body

Using the metal frame, Pip constructed the robot’s skeleton. He wired the wheel to the legs so that it could walk. The battery was tucked inside for power. Pip soldered the wires with great care, but the lights flickered. He sighed, knowing that the design would need tweaking.

First Test Run

Pip pressed the start button, hoping the robot would move. The legs trembled, and the robot tipped over. Pip laughed at the wobble, realizing a mistake in the balance. He adjusted the center of gravity and tried again. This time, the robot wobbled but finally stood upright, clapping its tiny arms.

Pip named the robot “Boti.” They spent hours playing in the field, rolling over, and sharing carrots. Boti’s eyes glimmered with excitement whenever Pip spoke a new word. Their friendship grew each day, and Pip began to feel like the most creative pig on the farm. Boti was no longer just metal; it was a friend.
