The Lost Pen

She held it tightly in her hand and felt a warm glow around it. That glow made her think the pen could do something special. She decided to keep it in her backpack for safety. Then she set off to explore the mysterious house.
The Dream
At night, the pen started to whisper soft words to Maya. The pen told her about a faraway kingdom where the sky was purple and the trees sang songs. It said that anyone who used the pen could write a page that would happen in the future. Maya felt excited and a little nervous, but she listened. She dreamed of saving the kingdom from a big storm. The Quest
Maya packed a snack, a map, and her newest favorite toy elephant. She followed the trail leading to the secret forest that grew upside‑down trees.
