A heartfelt adventure of friendship and courage.

Emma lived at the foot of the misty mountains. She had a curious spirit and a gentle heart. Every day she would listen to the wind through the pine trees. The wind carried soft voices that others couldn't hear. She decided to find where these voices came from.

Emma followed a narrow trail that climbed higher than she had ever gone. Her sneakers squeaked on stone. The path was lined with wildflowers that glowed in the moonlight. Suddenly a small rabbit hopped away, as if alerting her. She felt a thrill and pressed on.

Reaching a clearing, she heard chanting that sounded like the river. A circle of glowing orbs floated like lanterns. She realized they were spirits of the mountains. The spirits smiled at her with warm eyes. Emma felt safe and welcomed.

The spirits asked Emma about the echo that was fading in the valley. It was the song their ancestors sang. The echo was important because it taught kindness. Emma promised to keep the song alive. She closed her eyes and sang softly.

Water from a hidden spring bubbled in the clearing. The spirits thanked her with crystal drops. They gifted her a small stone to remember the mountain. The stone glimmered with tiny stars. Emma hugged the stone as a keepsake.

When dawn came, Emma said goodbye to the spirits. They whispered that she carried their song in her heart. She walked back down the path, humming the echo. Her village welcomed her with open arms. The mountain spirits lived on in her story, and Emma never forgot to listen.
