The Towering Sandwich
The First Slice
Once upon a time, a boy named Tim wanted to make the biggest sandwich ever.
He laid down the first slice of bread on a giant table in his backyard.
Then he added lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and ham, carefully stacking each layer.
The sandwich grew taller and taller until it was as tall as Tim himself.
He smiled proudly and decided it was time for the next layer.
Climbing for More
Soon, Tim realized he needed a ladder to keep adding more layers.
He climbed carefully, spreading peanut butter and jelly at the top.
His dog Barky barked from below, wondering how Tim would eat it all.
Neighbors came out to watch, cheering him on as the sandwich towered higher.
By the time the sun began to set, the sandwich touched the tree branches.
The Sandwich Tower
Birds perched on the sandwich to have a little nibble.
Tim laughed and said, “Even the birds think it’s delicious!”
He used the ladder to climb down and admired his masterpiece.
It looked like a skyscraper made of bread and toppings.
But now came the hardest part — how to take a bite!
A Giant Bite
Tim thought and thought, then had a brilliant idea.
He climbed halfway up the ladder and leaned forward carefully.
He took the biggest bite he could — “Mmm! Delicious!”
The sandwich wobbled but stayed standing, tall and proud.
It was the tastiest adventure Tim ever had.
Sharing the Feast
The next day, Tim invited everyone in the neighborhood.
They brought plates and forks and climbed the ladder together.
They all shared the giant sandwich, laughing and chatting.
Even Barky got a special plate of crumbs.
It became a day to remember — The Feast of the Towering Sandwich!
