A young child discovers a mysterious workshop where inventions from all ages come alive.

One afternoon, a child named Mia wandered into an old shed behind her school. Inside, she found gears, springs, and a tall machine that hummed softly.
Suddenly, a flash of light filled the room, and an inventor appeared—none other than Leonardo da Vinci himself!
He looked confused, holding a notebook full of sketches.
Mia realized she had just met one of the most brilliant minds in history.

Leonardo sighed and said, “My flying machine is not ready, and time is running out.”
Mia offered to help. They searched through shelves filled with tools, wires, and feathers.
Together, they studied the drawings, trying to understand how the wings should move.
Mia suggested using rubber bands to make them flap. Leonardo’s eyes sparkled.
“Brilliant!” he exclaimed.

They worked all afternoon, cutting and shaping parts.
Mia used a small hammer while Leonardo adjusted the angles of the wooden frame.
Finally, the machine looked like a giant bird ready to soar.
Leonardo smiled proudly but said, “Now we must test it.”

They rolled the flying machine out into the yard.
Mia helped Leonardo climb aboard. The wings began to move—flap, flap, flap!
The machine lifted off the ground, and Leonardo laughed joyfully.
Mia cheered as her new friend flew over the trees, shouting, “It works!”

When Leonardo landed, he thanked Mia and said, “You’ve given my dream wings.”
The workshop glowed once again, and before she could say goodbye, he vanished in a swirl of golden light.
All that remained was his notebook—and one small feather.
Mia smiled and whispered, “Goodbye, my friend.”
She knew she had helped history take flight.
